The Walt Disney Co.'s sports streaming service ESPN+ has now secured 14.9 million paid subscribers, up from 13.8 million subscribers in May.
The announcement was made ahead of the monthly subscription fee for ESPN+ rising by $1 to $6.99 (€5.89) from August 13. Meanwhile, the annual subscription cost will climb from $59.99 to $69.99.
