International sports broadcaster ESPN has launched its ESPNU and SEC Network channels in Mexico through a carriage deal with telecommunications company Totalplay.
Totalplay, which provides internet, connected-television and telephone services, is available in more than 20 cities across Mexico.
ESPNU is ESPN’s dedicated college sports channel, while SEC Network covers developments and contests in the Southeastern Conference.
ESPNU, which was launched in 2005, shows more than 650 live sporting events every year.
ESPN and the Southeastern Conference established the ESPN-backed SEC Network in 2014. The channel shows more than 45 American football, 100 men’s basketball, 60 women’s basketball and 75 baseball games per year.
