Russian organisers of the 2016 Biathlon European Championships have said international sports broadcaster Eurosport and Russian sports media platform Match TV will broadcast next month’s event.
Vladimir Yakushev, a board member of the Russian Biathlon Union, told the Tass news agency that Eurosport is expected to provide coverage of the competition across 59 countries, with Match TV covering the event in the host nation.
An International Biathlon Union event, the European Championships are set to be held in the city of Tyumen from February 23-28.
