Pan-European broadcaster Eurosport has secured exclusive rights across the continent to the inaugural Global Baseball Match-Up between Japan and Europe.
The two-match series organised by the World Baseball Softball Confederation will be shown by Eurosport on its Eurosport 2 channel on March 10-11.
The games will pit world No.1 team Japan against a European select side – the first time a combined baseball team has been formed from the continent – at the Tokyo Dome.
Eurosport’s deal is for all broadcast platforms, including internet and mobile devices, in all languages.
