Pan-European sports broadcaster Eurosport has secured exclusive live rights in Germany to the 2014 Fifa Club World Cup football tournament, which commenced today (Wednesday) in Morocco.
Eurosport’s coverage will focus on the games featuring Uefa Champions League victor Real Madrid, who boast Germany’s Fifa World Cup winners Toni Kroos and Sami Khedira in their squad.
Eurosport will broadcast Real’s opening game in the competition, a semi-final tie on December 16, along with the final itself on December 20.
Real is scheduled to face the victor of the clash between Cruz Azul and Western Sydney Wanderers, whose quarter-final game takes place on Saturday.
