Fast Track to sell Glasgow 2014 rights worldwide

The Fast Track agency has been appointed by the 2014 Glasgow Commonwealth Games organising committee to sell the broadcast rights for the event in selected territories worldwide.

Fast Track will sell rights in South Africa, Asia and New Zealand, as well as territories that do not have representative athletes at the Commonwealth Games.

The agency served as a global rights distributor for the two most recent editions of the Commonwealth Games, in Melbourne in 2006 and Delhi in 2010.

“Maximising the opportunity of Glasgow 2014’s international broadcast rights is a critical success factor in terms of ensuring as many people as possible across the world can share the experience of an outstanding Commonwealth Games in Scotland and the sporting achievements of thousands of great athletes from across the world,” Glasgow 2014 chief executive David Grevemberg said. “We are delighted to be working with Fast Track, a truly international sports agency with a wealth of experience and a successful Commonwealth Games track record.”
