FBC picks up rights to Top 14, Champions Trophy

Fijian commercial broadcaster FBC has secured rights in the country to the Top 14, the top division of club rugby union in France, and the International Cricket Council’s Champions Trophy national team competition.

Terms of the Top 14 deal were not disclosed, but it was confirmed that FBC will show live coverage of the event on free-to-air television for the first time in Fiji.

FBC will broadcast live coverage of one featured match per week during the competition, as well as the play-offs, semi-finals and final.

Meanwhile, FBC will broadcast highlights of each match at the 2017 Champions Trophy.

Highlights will be shown on the FBC free-to-air channel in Fiji at 10:30am and again at 9:15pm.
