Football Federation Australia has agreed a new deal with pay-television broadcaster Fox Sports for the 2013-14 season of women’s club competition the W-League.
Under the terms of the deal, Fox Sports will broadcast two W-League matches during the upcoming season for the first time.
These matches will form part of a new series of W-League and men’s A-League double-headers. The featured games will be Sydney FC v Melbourne Victory on December 15 and Brisbane Roar v Western Sydney Wanderers on January 24.
Public-service broadcaster the ABC will continue to broadcast the W-League as it has done since the competition’s inception, with live matches returning to Australian screens each Sunday.
The sixth season of the W-League kicks off on November 9.
