The International Bobsleigh and Tobogganing Federation (FIBT) has extended its media rights and marketing partnership with the Infront Sports & Media agency through the 2017-18 season.
As part of its ongoing role in a media rights capacity, Infront will offer market-by-market segmented packages on a global level, including live, delayed and highlights footage. The rights cover all platforms on a free and pay basis. Live streaming rights, for exploitation on the official FIBT digital platforms, are to be retained by the federation in selected territories.
From 2014-15 onwards, Infront will also manage the media production for all FIBT World Cup and World Championship races. The new contract is set to mark 25 years of partnership between Infront and the FIBT in 2018.

As we provide the FIBT with all key commercial services and consultancy from one central source, we will synergise our experience in all fields, further enhancing the impact of the FIBT World Cup and World Championships.”
On the marketing side, Infront handles bobsleigh and skeleton’s top-tier sponsorship programme on an exclusive basis. In addition, under the new agreement, Infront will now also work on a consultancy level to further optimise the FIBT sponsorship programme.
