World football’s governing body Fifa will collaborate with the Pitch International agency to launch a new weekly magazine show entitled Fifa Football.
The half-hour show will cover men’s, women’s and youth football, along with human interest and football development stories.
Fifa Football will launch at the beginning of May, ahead of the organisation’s presidential elections on May 29.
Jonathan Rogers, managing director of Pitch International, said: “We have a newly formed production team, fresh editorial approach, new graphics, and a host of stars, footage and features to connect with fans. We hope Fifa Football will become a trusted voice for delivering a weekly fix of the best moments and interesting stories from around the world of football.”
