Croatian IPTV platform Iskon has agreed a deal to carry Fight Channel, the European pay-television channel dedicated to martial arts and combat sports.
Iskon will offer Fight Channel as part of its ‘extended basic’ package. The channel will be available in the local language.
Fight Channel will broadcast coverage of events such as mixed martial arts series the Ultimate Fighting Championship via Iskon.
Fight Channel already has a presence on various platforms in Bosnia & Herzegovina, Macedonia, Montenegro, Serbia and Slovenia.
Orsat Zovko, chief executive of the Fight Channel Group, said: “The launch of Fight Channel, as a unique sport channel specialised in combat sports with boxing, kickboxing and MMA, will definitely strengthen Iskon’s portfolio and enrich its sport offer since combat sport is the fastest-growing sport in the world.”
