Fight Sports, the CSI Sports-owned linear sports channel and digital service, has agreed a distribution agreement in Sweden with telecoms and cable television operator Com Hem.
Fight Sports will now be available to customers of Com Hem and Boxer, the pay-television platform owned by Com Hem. The agreement means Fight Sport’s distribution in Sweden will cover over one million households.
The channel was awarded a five-year digital terrestrial television (DTT) license in the country in March.
It will be the country’s first channel dedicated to fight sports, broadcasting events from across boxing, kickboxing and mixed martial arts as well as ancillary content including highlights and documentaries.
This latest distribution deal furthers the reach of Fight Sports, which following its launch in 2012, has distribution agreements in place across Europe, Middle East and North Africa, sub-Saharan Africa and Asia-Pacific.
