Sports-streaming service FloSports has sealed a deal to acquire the Rugby Channel from Rugby International Marketing, the commercial arm of USA Rugby.
Under the deal, live coverage of 51 events and more than 200 matches per year will be added to the FloRugby.com platform, which launched early last year with a focus on rugby union in North America.
The properties covered by the deal include USA Rugby men’s, women’s A-level and age-grade national team matches, the Top 14 in France, the Pro14 in Europe and England international Test matches, as well as other contests.
As part of the deal, FloRugby will also provide exclusive access to USA Rugby events, officials and players.
FloRugby will now be able to show more than 100 days of live rugby every year, including matches and competitions over 45 weekends.
