Formula E has signed rights deals in Argentina and Uruguay that will provide free-to-air coverage of the motor racing series’ upcoming races in the South American countries.
Argentine free-to-air public channel America TV will broadcast live action of the Buenos Aires ePrix on January 10 – alongside Channel 4 Uruguay, which will air live coverage from the Punta del Este ePrix on December 13.
Formula E struck a similar deal last month with Malaysian state broadcaster RTM for the country’s Putrajaya ePrix, the second round of the inaugural season of the championship.
The Uruguayan and Argentine races represent the third and fourth events on the calendar before Formula E stages two events in the US, in Miami and Long Beach respectively.
