Pay-television broadcaster Fox Sports Africa has agreed a rights deal with the Ultimate Fighting Championship mixed martial arts series.
Fox Sports Africa’s coverage will commence on October 24 with UFC Fight Night: Poirier vs. Duffy, which takes place in Dublin, Ireland. The contract will run until 2018.
Fox Sports Africa will broadcast all the main cards of UFC events as well as additional programming including UFC Insider and UFC Countdown, as well as magazine programming.
Fox Sports Africa is operated by the Fox International Channels broadcast subsidiary of media company 21st Century Fox.
