Pay-television broadcaster Fox Sports has agreed a three-year extension to its rights deal for the Uefa Europa League club football competition in the Netherlands.
The new agreement, which runs from the 2015-16 to 2017-18 season, grants Fox Sports exclusive live rights to all matches from the secondary club competition of European football’s governing body Uefa.
The 2014-15 Europa League resumes today (Thursday), with Fox Sports broadcasting live coverage of Eredivisie club PSV Eindhoven’s Round of 32 first leg clash against Russian Premier League team Zenit St. Petersburg.
The deal was first reported in the TV Sports Markets newsletter on January 16.
