The Fox Sports division of US network Fox and magazine publisher Sports Illustrated have agreed a multi-year digital agreement.
Under the deal, content will be exchanged between the two parties, with Fox able to syndicate video highlights to Sports Illustrated’s properties.
The advertising sales units from Sports Illustrated and Fox Sports will sell advertising across both entities, with the two companies sharing the revenue.
According to the Wall Street Journal, the deal has been announced as the Fox Sports 1 channel has adopted a new approach, with its programming focusing more on personality and debate-driven sports shows, rather than highlights and news.
