The Fox International Channels broadcast subsidiary of media company 21st Century Fox is to launch a new online channel in the Netherlands.
Fox Sports 6 will only be activated when the broadcaster has more live feeds available than it can accommodate on its existing main two channels in the country, according to the Broadband TV News website.
Fox Sports 6 will be available on an exclusive basis for subscribers to the Fox Sports Go mobile service.
The channel will offer sports action for the first time this Thursday when it shows live coverage of the Rio Open ATP World Tour men’s tennis tournament.
