Australian pay-television broadcaster Foxtel is to launch a dedicated television channel for the Women’s World Cup, the showpiece 50-over cricket event that begins next month.

The linear channel will show live coverage of all 31 matches from the tournament – which is being staged in New Zealand from March 4 to April 3 – in addition to replays, highlights and original programming.
