Public-service broadcaster France Télévisions has agreed a rights deal for the final of the 2016-17 Uefa Women’s Champions League, which will be contested by two French football teams for the first time.
Reigning champion Olympique Lyonnais will face Paris Saint-Germain at Cardiff City Stadium in Wales on June 1.
France Télévisions has agreed a rights deal with European football’s governing body for each of the past two editions of the final, which have also featured French clubs, and has again done so for this year’s event.
The game will be broadcast by the France 2 channel, along with sports broadcaster Eurosport.
