Digital sports media content provider Whistle Sports has closed its Series C funding round, led by investment firm Beringea.
Whistle did not publicly disclose the amount raised, but various reports place the total at $27.5m (€25.6m). Beringea is said to have contributed $4.6m.
European broadcast group Sky, the NBC Sports Venture division of US media group NBCUniversal, US broadcaster and digital media company Tegna and private investment firm Emil Capital, all of which were previous investors in Whistle, also featured in the latest round.
