Jarrod Frykberg has been appointed as the new director of acquisitions at Australian pay-television sports broadcaster Fox Sports.
Frykberg, formerly general manager of Australasia at the Pitch International agency, will begin his role on July 16.
He replaces Tony Sinclair, who is to take a break from the industry after serving as a consultant for Australian pay-television broadcaster Foxtel during its coverage of the London 2012 Olympic Games.
“Jarrod comes to Fox Sports with a strong reputation in sports rights and sales and is well placed to continue our acquisition plans in line with strategies set for the future,” Fox Sports chief executive Patrick Delany said.
“We also wish Tony Sinclair well in his future endeavours after deciding to take a well-earned break after eight years at Fox Sports.”
