US-based sports streaming platform fuboTV has entered into a binding agreement to acquire French live-TV streaming company Molotov SAS and posted record revenues of $156.7m (€135.4m) for the third quarter of 2021, while reaching one million paying subscribers.
Under the terms of the agreement, fuboTV has submitted a binding offer to acquire Molotov for €164.3m ($189.3m) in a combination of cash and equity consideration, of which at least 85 per cent is expected in equity.
