The Glory kickboxing league has broadened its exposure in the US by agreeing a partnership with streaming television company Xumo.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed, but Glory will provide hundreds of hours of kickboxing content – including archived fight cards, pre and post-fight interviews and shoulder programming – to bolster Xumo’s video-on-demand content library for its OTT platform.
A newly developed Glory channel will now be the exclusive home for kickboxing on Xumo, with the agreement also representing the platform’s first combat sports partnership.
“We are excited to partner with Xumo as part of a continued effort to expand our digital footprint and bring the most exciting combat sport to new audiences,” Nadim Tannous, vice-president of digital for Glory, said.
“From the carefully curated channel lineup and cutting-edge integrations with brand partners like LG, it’s clear that our vision for what entertainment can be aligned perfectly with theirs.”
