Horse racing media consultancy HBA Media has appointed Will Oscroft as managing director under an overhaul of its senior management structure.
Oscroft (pictured) joins HBA from Dubai-based Falcon and Associates, where he served as international marketing and communications director working exclusively on behalf of the Dubai leadership to identify and optimise opportunities for the emirate’s growth.
Under the transition, HBA owner Henry Birtles, who previously served as managing director, will now become chief executive.
Oscroft said: “The sport of racing is at an exciting moment in its history with ever-increasing attendances on race days and the quality of broadcast coverage at an all-time high.
“With a growing number of digital platforms hungry for quality sports content, HBA Media is primed to serve the racing industry by producing and distributing innovative and contemporary productions across all media platforms to ensure the great sport of racing is enjoyed by an international audience.”
