Specialist international equestrian sports and lifestyle television channel Horse & Country TV has announced it will launch in Sweden in October.
Under a carriage deal with Swedish cable operator Com Hem, Horse & Country TV will be specially adapted for the Swedish market by offering local productions as well as subtitling.
Horse & Country TV will be offered as part of Com Hem's new TiVo Plus and TiVo Max packages as well as on an a la carte basis.
The channel's chief executive, Heather Killen, said the Com Hem agreement is a "major development" for the company as it seeks to expand its international presence.
Horse & Country TV is currently available in around 10.5 million homes in the UK and Ireland through pay-television broadcaster BSkyB, along with on cable across the Netherlands.
