The Broadreach Media agency has struck a deal to distribute the International Canoe Federation’s global media rights.
The agency, which is based in Lausanne, Switzerland will market the federation’s rights across television and new media platforms.
The federation produces more than 25 hours of high-definition programming from about 10 events per year in sprint and slalom canoeing.
“We fully expect to add further broadcast deals over the coming months to significantly boost canoeing's global exposure in the run up to the 2016 Olympics,” Broadreach Media Europe director Steven Morris said.
