The IMG Media agency has agreed a deal with Flanders Classics, the operator of a series of six one-day cycle races in Belgium and the Paris-Brussels cycle race, to distribute media rights for the races.
The deal will run for three years, from 2013 to 2015.
IMG Media will distribute rights for live and delayed coverage of the events across all media platforms.
Floris Weisz, sales and acquisition executive for the Netherlands, Belgium, Greece and Cyprus at IMG Media, said: “We are very excited to partner with the Flanders Classics organisation to further build their brand around the globe and we are delighted to be representing these famous races, which strengthens IMG’s offering to the world’s cycling broadcasters.”
IMG Media also sells rights worldwide for other cycling events such as the Giro d’Italia in Italy and the Tour de Romandie in Switzerland.
