The IMG Media agency will exclusively market the media rights to English Premier League football in Spain and Andorra for the three years covering the 2013-14 to 2015-16 seasons of the league.
IMG has acquired the rights from the Premier League and is now in negotiations with prospective broadcasters to show live and highlights action ahead of the start of the 2013-14 season, which kicks off on August 17.
IMG has also marketed Premier League rights for Japan, Vietnam and Mongolia in Asia and in the Balkan region, as well as securing the worldwide rights for in-ship and in-flight markets.
This includes exploitation of the Premier League on Sport 24, IMG’s sports channel for airlines and cruise ships.
