Indian cricket players Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma have signed up to join Unscriptd, a new media company that aims to help professional athletes to create and publish their unfiltered personal stories in short-form video format.
Kohli and Sharma, regular members of the Indian national cricket team, will release videos to allow fans around the world to find out more about their personal lives and professional careers.
Both athletes have already released their first short videos using the Unscriptd proprietary publishing platform. The video received a combined total of more than 900,000 views within 48 hours of being shared on social media.
Launched in January, Unscriptd videos have so far attracted more than 50 million views around the world.
Global football stars Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo are among a number of professional athletes to have joined Unscriptd.
