The Infront Sports & Media agency has closed multi-year rights agreements with three members of the Asian Football Confederation.
For each of the Bangladesh Football Federation, Lao Football Federation and the Football Association of Thailand, Infront will handle the distribution of international media rights relating to home matches, including both qualifiers for international competitions and friendlies.
Bangladesh, Laos and Thailand (pictured) were this week drawn in Group B, Group G and Group F respectively for the second qualification round of the 2018 Fifa World Cup and the preliminary round of the 2019 AFC Asian Cup.
The partnership brings the number of Asian national football teams in the Infront portfolio to four after the agency partnered with the Qatar Football Association earlier this week under AspireInfront – a joint venture with Doha-based Aspire Katara Investment.
As part of the individual contracts, Infront will exclusively distribute the international media rights for first team matches as well as U-23 and U-19 home games. Infront will market live/delayed, highlights and news rights across all platforms and for all territories outside of the respective domestic markets.
