The International Tennis Federation has agreed a number of rights deals for the Fed Cup women’s national team tournament.
The governing body has reached agreements with Australian commercial broadcaster Seven, Romanian cable-television operator Romtelecom and Polish pay-television operator Polsat.
Pay-television broadcaster beIN Media Group will also show coverage of the tournament on its channels in Thailand, Indonesia, Cambodia and Laos.
All of the deals will run for two years, from 2015 to 2016.
In Switzerland, AZ Medien-owned channel TV24 acquired rights for the 2015 season only.
The deals were agreed after the ITF recently agreed a strategic partnership for beIN Media Group for coverage, rights distribution and production of the Fed Cup and Davis Cup men’s tournament.
