ITN Productions has been appointed as the host broadcaster for the International Association of Athletics Federations’ World Relays 2017 event.
ITN Productions will operate between 16 and 18 cameras during the two-day event in Nassau, Bahamas, from April 22-23.
The coverage will be used for television, digital and social media platforms.
A purpose-built production facility will supply live coverage, highlights and on-site facilities to rights holders. ITN Productions’ London-based team in the UK will supply digital highlights for mainstream and online media.
The company will also provide a live feed for international television rights-holders covering all races and medal ceremonies, as well as the opening and closing ceremonies.
ITN Productions was awarded the contract after a two-month tender process that involved six companies.
