UK commercial broadcaster ITV has acquired rights to the inaugural edition of cycling’s Tour de Yorkshire, which takes place from May 1-3.
Free-to-air digital channel ITV4 will provide live coverage of the three-day race, along with nightly highlights of every stage.
The Tour de Yorkshire has been formed after the English county staged the Grand Départ opening stages of last year’s Tour de France to great acclaim.
