UK commercial broadcaster ITV has acquired rights to this year’s edition of the Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe horse racing event.
The event takes place on October 1 at the Chantilly racecourse in France.
ITV struck the agreement with France Galop, the rights-holder of French horse racing.
The Racing Post newspaper said that ITV’s coverage would begin at 1pm and include four live races, with the Arc set to begin at 3.05pm.
Last year’s event was shown in the UK by pay-television broadcaster Sky.
