The Kentaro agency has acquired the global media rights to leading pre-season football competition the Audi Cup, which this year will feature host club Bayern Munich along with Manchester City, AC Milan and Sao Paulo.
Kentaro has previously distributed the international television rights to the 2009 and 2011 tournaments, but has added rights in the German market to this year’s package.
The 2013 Audi Cup commences on July 31 at the Allianz Arena with Manchester City taking on AC Milan, before European and 1.Bundesliga champion Bayern plays Sao Paulo. The final and third-place play-off takes place on the following day.
