Pay-television broadcaster Kombat Sport has agreed a deal to launch a channel dedicated to the Ultimate Fighting Championship mixed martial arts organisation, which will be available exclusively through French pay-television operator Numericable.
The Mediasportif.fr website said UFC Premium will launch on January 27 in France, priced at €9.99 ($12) per month. The channel will provide all UFC fights over the 2015 and 2016 seasons in high definition.
In October, Kombat Sport agreed a deal to broadcast the UFC in France, Belgium, Switzerland, Luxembourg and sub-Saharan Africa in 2015 and 2016.
Kombat Sport is showing all UFC events and associated programming, including UFC Countdown.
