African pay-television broadcaster Kwesé TV has launched a new free-to-air offering that will include its Free Sports Channel.
The channel will showcase properties such as football’s English Premier League and the NBA basketball league.
The Kwesé Free offering will include at least five channels that have previously only been available to pay-television subscribers. As well as the sports channel, the offering will feature entertainment, news and religious channels.
Kwesé Free will be made available to users with a Kwesé set-top box. Users of the new free-to-air service will be given the chance to access 70 additional channels through a three, seven or 30-day window via their smartphone.
