LaLiga, the governing body of Spain’s top two professional football tiers, received no bids for exclusive rights to its second-tier Segunda División, and will now market the rights non-exclusively.
The decision follows a meeting of the Control Body for the Management of Audiovisual Rights yesterday (Tuesday). The deadline for submitting offers for the rights fell yesterday, after the rights were tendered on May 3.
