LaLiga, the operator of the Spanish Football League, has signed carriage deals for its LaLiga 1|2|3 TV channel, which provides live coverage of matches in the country’s Segunda División second tier.
Telecommunications companies Orange and Telecable have agreed three-season deals, from 2016-17 to 2018-19.
Orange and Telecable will provide a platform for LaLiga 1|2|3 TV, which will show up to 10 games on each match day. Viewers can select what game they watch when matches overlap via the ‘multi-football’ option.
Orange's agreement also includes coverage of a full game on a delayed basis.
Both non-exclusive rights deals will include additional content such as match previews, post-game content and report programmes.
In July, the Segunda División was rebranded as LaLiga 1|2|3 as part of a new title sponsorship deal between LaLiga and banking group Santander.
