The Learfield Sports agency has secured new multimedia rights partnerships with Texas A&M University and Dartmouth College in the US.
Learfield has also enhanced an existing partnership with Texas A&M University. The new agreement will run for 10 years, from July 1, 2016 through to June 30, 2026.
Since 2006, Learfield has operated Texas A&M Sports Properties, an entity that has marketed corporate sponsorships connected with the Texas A&M Athletics Department.
Subject to final contract negotiations, Learfield will now reorganise and enlarge its Texas A&M-based team to maximise athletics opportunities as well as other campus-wide responsibilities.
Under the multi-year Dartmouth deal, the terms of which were not disclosed, Learfield will manage all multimedia rights for the college’s athletics department.
Learfield will also establish Big Green Sports Properties, a local team that will work with the Dartmouth College athletics department to manage corporate sponsorship endeavours.
