The Ladies European Tour golf organisation has relaunched its official YouTube channel to provide live coverage of the 2013 Solheim Cup between teams representing Europe and the US in countries where the tournament will not be available on television.
The LET will provide live coverage through its channel on the video-sharing website from August 15-18, plus additional content including news, special features and highlights from the tournament, which takes place between teams representing Europe and the US.
Live coverage of the 2013 Solheim Cup will be produced by UK pay-television broadcaster Sky Sports. Additional news, behind-the-scenes features and interviews produced by LET television production partner UCOM will also be available to watch throughout the week of the tournament.
The LET YouTube channel will be available via the websites of Tour commercial partners such as SAP, Allianz and Golf.de.
Ladies European Tour chief executive Ivan Khodabakhsh said: “It is hugely important to the Ladies European Tour to bring the excitement of women’s golf to a wide and diverse audience and we are proud to be able to deliver a live streaming service on YouTube for the first time this year.”
