English Women’s Super League football club Manchester City will live stream this weekend’s fixture against Doncaster Rovers Belles on social media platform Facebook.
The club claims it will mark the first competitive women’s football match in the UK to be streamed live using the platform’s Facebook Live feature.
Manchester City will face Doncaster Rovers Belles this Sunday in the quarter-final of the FA WSL Cup knockout tournament at 2pm. The match will be available to watch on a global basis via the club’s official Facebook page, which currently has more than 4.5 million ‘likes’.
