Mayer named DAZN chairman as Skipper steps down

Kevin Mayer, a former leading executive at Walt Disney Co. and TikTok, has been appointed to the role of chairman at DAZN, the global sports subscription service and media company.

Mayer comes on board as John Skipper stands down from his role as executive chairman. Skipper, the former president at Disney-owned ESPN, recently unveiled his plans to launch his Meadowlark Media content company alongside former ESPN colleague Dan Le Batard.
