MCN launches sports division

The Multi Channel Network (MCN), a joint venture between the Foxtel, Austar, Premier Media Group and XYZ Networks media companies, has launched a new sports division.

MCN Sport will “focus on connecting brands with high-quality sports content across mobile, tablet, web and television platforms,” the company said.

The division will be led by national sports sales director Martin Medcraf.

MCN Sport will be responsible for the advertising interests of 12 television channels, 46 websites, 41 mobile websites and 41 mobile applications.
