Spanish agency Mediapro has acquired rights across Central and Latin America and the Caribbean for the Formula One motor-racing world championship.
The exclusive deal, which excludes Brazil, will run for five years, from 2015 to 2019.
Under the agreement, Mediapro will produce a dedicated channel, TV Formula One, which will show the coverage.
Mediapro struck the deal with Formula One World Championship, the owner of the championship’s rights.
The agreement includes free-to-air and pay-television rights to all races, qualifying and practice sessions across all media platforms.
