Mexican cinema chain Cinepolis has acquired rights for 30 matches during football's 2014 Fifa World Cup national team tournament in a sublicensing deal with media company Grupo Televisa.
The 30 games include the World Cup’s opening match between host nation Brazil and Croatia on June 12, along with Mexico’s three group stage games against Cameroon, Brazil and Croatia.
Cinepolis will also broadcast the two semi-finals and the July 13 final in its cinemas across more than 70 cities in Mexico.
