The Major League Baseball Advanced Media division of North America’s Major League Baseball has expanded its distribution partnership with digital sports news agency SendtoNews.
The multi-faceted deal will run for three years, from 2016 to 2018.
SendtoNews will have exclusive distribution rights for the digital syndication of MLB game highlights, interviews, top plays and other related video content to local news websites in the US and Canada.
The syndication agreement also includes archived content, long-form original programming and global rights for the distribution of short-form digital video content for Minor League Baseball, MLB's development league.
Kenny Gersh, executive vice-prescient business at MLBAM, said: “Expanding our successful partnership with SendtoNews is important to drive targeted reach of baseball across leading online news destinations.”
