North American basketball league the NBA has appointed Jennifer Chun as senior vice-president of global media distribution.
Chun will report to Bill Koenig, the NBA’s president of global media distribution, and will work closely with David Denenberg, senior vice-president of global media distribution and business affairs, to help drive the growth of the organisation’s television and digital assets, including NBA TV and NBA League Pass.
Chun comes to the NBA directly from cable-television operator Time Warner Cable, where she recently served as senior vice-president of content acquisition.
Koenig said: “The expertise that she has demonstrated throughout her career will benefit the league tremendously as NBA continues to develop new content offerings, grows its relationships with leading network and digital media partners and reaches more fans through NBA TV and NBA League Pass.”
