AMC Networks International – Central Europe, the central European division of US entertainment company AMC Networks, has agreed a multi-year extension to its deal with the NBA for the rights in Hungary to the North American basketball league.
AMC will broadcast live coverage of at least two games per week during the regular-season via its Sport1 and Sport2 channels.
AMC will also broadcast live coverage of marquee NBA events such as the play-offs, the finals and the NBA All-Star game.
Sport1 also will continue to broadcast the ‘Trash Talk’ weekly highlights programme.
AMC’s Sport1 channel has broadcast coverage of the NBA in Hungary for the last 15 years.
